Dear Fellow Filipino-American Nurse,
We are the Research Committee of the Philippine Nurses Association of New Jersey (PNANJ)
and we are asking for your help. We are conducting a survey of all Filipino- American professional nurses in New Jersey to have a comprehensive baseline demographic data of the health, education and socio-economic status of this population. Data collected will be used as aggregate and will not reveal identity of individual responder.
The aggregate data will be used to describe the demographic composition of this group of minority professionals. The health, education and socio-economic data will be used to identify health issues specific to the Filipino-American nurses and barriers to educational advancement. The goal is to plan and implement initiatives to assist the Filipino-American nurses maximize their health status, advance their clinical competency and education based on their individual personal and career goals.
As we advocate health and maximum clinical and educational capability of the Filipino-American nurses of New Jersey, we are in a better position to contribute to numerous global health initiatives in leading change and advancing health, here and abroad.
Completion of this questionnaire confirms that you are a Filipino-American registered nurse or licensed practical nurse in New Jersey and that you consent to be a participant of this survey.
